Remembering John... Ten years on!

Today ten years after he passed away, John is still fondly remembered, thanks in part too new dramas like Lewis and now Endeavour, which are keeping John's well loved character of Inspector Morse firmly in the public's eye.

John passed away on Thursday 21st February 2002, but thankfully there are new dvd releases, which are keeping his wonderful creations alive for generations of fans to see.

Today and everyday we remember John with love, and we hold his family in our thoughts, later tonight I'm going to mark his anniversary by watching Killer Waiting, one of my all time favourite dramas.

John! You were and still are simply the best, god bless you gov'.

A day like this, ten years ago was my first time in Europe, I'm from South America, I was in Paris, I was convinced that John Thaw would improve,It were 8.30 in the morning I went to breakfast,I had a TV in front of my table, and I hear that John had died. None of my friends could understand, because after breakfast and travel to the Eifel Tower I could not stop to mourn, may B I never walk down the Champs Elysees again How I could be so sad. I Never forget that day of deep winter on the Paris's streets was never so gray that beautiful city, I wanted to travel to England But I coud't and Now I coul not go too.Sad February 21, his memory in my heart, his talent for humanity forever
